Facilitating Advances in Addiction Science Through Meeting and Communications Support

Overview

For the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Synergy supports logistics for both in-person and virtual scientific meetings—from small workshops to large conferences—by supporting sponsored presenters, designing branding and advertisement, providing audiovisual and information technology resources and support, managing registration websites, and writing summaries and proceedings. Our work also includes supporting publication research and outreach programs for NIDA’s Office of Science Policy and Communications.

Impact

For this contract, Synergy has supported more than 35 virtual, hybrid, and in-person meetings—reaching an audience of more than 15,000 attendees and allowing NIDA to continue to advance its mission and communicate its findings without disruption. Support resulted in 23 scientific meeting summaries (copyedited and made Section 508 compliant for web posting), 23 meeting graphics created to brand each event, and 35 meeting registration websites.
