Cynthia Kunz

Cynthia (Cindy) Kunz is the deputy director of strategic communications for the Support for Drug-Free Workplace project. From 1991 to 2024, Ms. Kunz worked with The CDM Group, where she created the Drug-Free Workplace Resource Center and directed the support project. She joined Synergy in 2024 when the company was awarded the Support for Drug-Free Workplace project, and she continues to assist Federal agencies in implementing Executive Order 12564; to brief new agency drug program coordinators; and to manage a panel of subject matter experts in chemistry, forensic toxicology, medicine, laboratory operations, Federal employment practices, and drug policy. A mediator by training, Ms. Kunz also managed Kunz and Company, a collaborative practice of mediators, facilitators, and arbitrators.
